Oatmeal Cake

Pour boiling water over oatmeal.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Cream butter, brown sugar, white sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Sift together flour, salt, soda and cinnamon.
Add oatmeal mixture, after mixing all other ingredients.
Bake at 350Β° in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Cool cake 15 minutes.
