Nutty Snack Mix
Nutty Snack Mix is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) box quaker oat squares, 2 c. pecans, 1/2 c. light corn syrup, 1/2 c. brown sugar and 1/4 c. margarine (1/2 stick), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Put cereal and pecans in a cake pan.
Melt light corn syrup, brown sugar and margarine until boiling in the microwave for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, depending on the microwave.
Mix all well together and bake at 250Β° for approximately 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
Cool and break into pieces.
This is a good recipe for gift giving at the holidays.
