In a large bowl, beat margarine and sugar at medium speed until creamy.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; stir in vanilla wafer crumbs.

Stir crumb mixture with milk into margarine mixture until well blended.

Stir in peaches and walnuts.

Spread into well-greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.

Bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes or until done.

Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.

Serve warm or at room temperature.
