Nutty-Chocolate-Thumbprint Cookies

First 5 ingredients in small bowl. Combine flour, cocoa and salt.
Blend into creamed mixture.
Chill 1 hour or until firm enough to handle.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
Beat egg slightly.
Into egg white.
In nuts.
Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Press thumb gently in center of each cookie.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 to 12 minutes and remove from pan gently.
Press kisses or cherries in center of each cookie.
