Nuteena A La King is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can nuteena, cubed, 2 medium onions, minced, 4 tbsp. margarine, 3 tbsp. minced parsley and 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Saute onions and mushrooms in margarine until tender.
Season to taste.
Add parsley and Nuteena and continue to brown at a low temperature.
Prepare white sauce and when mixture is slightly thickened, add grated cheese.
Stir until thoroughly blended.
If mixture becomes too thick, add more milk.
Combine the sliced eggs and Nuteena mixture with the white sauce and serve over the toasted bread.
