Nut Pound Cake
Nut Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. pecans, chopped and toasted, 1 2/3 c. sifted plain flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. ground mace, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt, mace and set aside.
Cream butter and sugar in large bowl.
Beat to fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Add vanilla, stir in nuts.
Pour in greased and floured large tube pan or three (9-inch) pans.
Bake in oven at 350Β° for 45 or 50 minutes.
Cool and turn on rack to finish cooling.
Ice with Caramel Icing.
