Nut Pound Cake
Nut Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. pecans, chopped and toasted, 1 2/3 c. sifted plain flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. ground mace, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Sift flour, baking powder and salt, mace and set aside.
Cream butter and sugar in large bowl.
Beat to fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Add vanilla, stir in nuts.
Pour in greased and floured large tube pan or three (9-inch) pans.
Bake in oven at 350Β° for 45 or 50 minutes.
Cool and turn on rack to finish cooling.
Ice with Caramel Icing.
