Melt half of chocolate tidbits.
Cream shortening and sugar; add egg.
Continue beating and add vanilla and melted chocolate. Add milk and dry ingredients.
Mix in chocolate pieces and nuts. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350Β° for about 13 to 15 minutes.
