Nut Cake
Nut Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 eggs, separated, 2 sticks butter, 4 c. flour, 1 1/2 lb. cherries (part green, part red) and pinch of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Combine egg yolks, sugar, butter and salt.
Take half of flour and mix with cherries and pecans.
Sift soda and nutmeg with the remaining flour.
Add this to creamed mixture; alternating flour with liquid.
Add cherries and nuts.
Beat egg whites stiff and fold into creamed mixture.
Bake at 250Β° for 4 hours.
The top will be cracked because of the heavy mixture.
