Nut-Brown Pound Cake
Nut-Brown Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 1/2 lb. butter, 1 c. granulated sugar, 1 (1 lb.) box light brown sugar and 5 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cream butter and shortening; add sugar, 1 cup at a time.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
Sift together the sifted flour and baking powder; add alternately with milk, beating well. (Start and end with flour.)
