Nut Bread
Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 egg, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 1/4 c. sour milk, 3 c. pastry or soft wheat flour, presifted and 3/4 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix egg, sugar and sour milk.
Mix well.
Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Sift dry ingredients into egg mixture.
Add nuts.
Beat thoroughly.
Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 325Β° for 1 hour. (Sweet milk may be used instead of sour milk.
If sweet milk is used, omit the baking soda and increase the baking powder to 6 teaspoons.)
