Norwegian Toast Cookies(Tebrod)
Norwegian Toast Cookies(Tebrod) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 c. sour cream and 3 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix all ingredients together in order given.
Dough should be sticky, but not real glossy.
You may have to add a tablespoon or so more flour.
On a greased cookie sheet, spoon and shape into 3 loaves.
Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Remove from oven; slice loaves.
Arrange slices, cut side down, on cookie sheet and bake another 15 minutes at 375° or until golden brown.
Each loaf makes 18 slices.
To make daintier slices, make loaves larger or narrower.
