Noonies Icebox Cookies

Cream the butter and sugar; add egg, then flour, soda and cream of tartar.
Add the nuts and cinnamon.
Roll in a long roll; wrap in wax paper.
Set in icebox for 12 hours.
When cold, slice and put on cookie sheet and bake 12 to 15 minutes at 325Β°.
