Newfi Bread
Newfi Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. yeast, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 c. molasses, 3 c. warm water and 2 tbsp. soft butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Dissolve yeast in water.
Add butter and molasses (butter will melt some).
Then add salt.
Add flour, one cup at a time.
Knead for 10 minutes.
Let rise in greased bowl until doubled.
Punch down.
Place in 3 well-greased pans and let rise again.
Bake 40 to 50 minutes at 375Β° or until done.
Test for doneness and remove from pans immediately.
Yields 3 (9 x 5-inch) loaves.
