New York Meatballs
New York Meatballs is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. lean hamburger, cooked and browned in patties, 1 medium onion, minced, 1/2 green pepper, minced, 1 (14 oz.) can whole tomatoes, minced and 1/2 can tomato paste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Saute onion, green pepper, mushrooms and tomatoes in skillet for 30 minutes.
Then add all ingredients, along with hamburger patties to which you have added salt, pepper and garlic salt. Cook on very low heat 1 hour.
I serve this with spaghetti and we have meatball sandwiches on French bread.
