Never Fail Rolls
Never Fail Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. lukewarm water, 2 pkg. dry yeast, 2 tsp. salt, 1/3 c. shortening and 1 c. cold water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine salt, sugar and shortening.
Cream well.
Add cold water and yeast that has been dissolved in the 1/2 cup warm water. Add well beaten egg and 2 cups flour.
Stir until smooth, then add 2 2/3 cups flour, dough will be a little soft.
Put in greased bowl and let rise until double in bulk.
Punch down and put in refrigerator at least 2 hours before using.
Overnight is better.
