Never Fail Pie Pastry is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1 c. lard, 1 egg (well beaten), 1/2 c. cold water and 1 tsp. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Measure flour and salt in a bowl.
Cut lard into flour until particles are the size of peas.
In a separate bowl, beat egg, add water and vinegar.
Add to your flour mixture and toss lightly until mixture is dampened.
Divide into 4 parts and make into balls.
Roll out and put in pie pan.
Fill with your favorite fruit.
Makes 2 - 9 inch pies.
