Never Fail Pie Crust is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1 1/4 c. vegetable shortening, 1 tbsp. sugar, 2 tsp. salt and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix the flour, shortening, sugar and salt with pastry blender. Beat the egg.
Add the water and vinegar to the egg and mix well. Combine the two mixtures, a little at a time, until all the dry ingredients are moist.
Mold together with your hands.
Makes 2 double crust 9-inch pies and one 9-inch shell.
May keep in refrigerator up to 1 week.
May freeze.
