Cut shortening into dry ingredients.
Put egg into a 1 cup measure.
Beat the egg and fill the cup with water.
Pour into a well made in shortening and flour mixture. Mix only enough to form a ball.
The mixture will seem too moist, but you will be adding flour as you roll the pie crust.
Use what you need and freeze the rest.
