Never Fail Pie Crust is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1 1/4 c. shortening or 1 c. lard, 1 tsp. salt, 1 egg, well-beaten and 5 tbsp. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Sift flour and salt.
Cut shortening in.
Combine egg, water and vinegar. Pour liquid into flour mixture all at once.
Blend with spoon until flour is all moistened.
This is an easy crust to handle and can be re-rolled, without toughening.
Keeps in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
Yields 2 double crust pies.
