Put first 3 ingredients in large bowl and mix well with fork. Add shortening and mix well with a fork.
In small bowl, beat together with a fork 1/2 water, the vinegar and egg.
Combine the two mixtures, stirring with a fork until all ingredients are moistened.
Divide dough into the size portions you want to use and roll out on floured board.
Or freeze in balls and take out of freezer a couple hours before using.
