(1 stick) butter, 2 (12 oz. ) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips or peanut butter chips and 1 pt. (7 oz.) marshmallow crème, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bring to a rolling boil the milk, sugar and butter.
Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
(Syrup should form a soft ball stage when tested in cold water, 232°.)
Remove from heat and stir in the chips and crème.
Add nuts, if desired.
Spread into a greased 10 x 13-inch cake pan.
Chill until firm.
Store in an airtight container.
