Never Fail Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. (1/8 lb.) butter or margarine, 1 small can (5 oz.) evaporated milk, 1 (7 1/2 oz.) jar marshmallow fluff and 3/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Combine first five ingredients; stir over low heat until blended.
Bring to a boil over moderate heat, being careful not to mistake air bubbles for boiling, then boil slowly, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes (to soft ball stage).
Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate and vanilla until chocolate is melted, then turn into a buttered 9 x 9-inch pan and cool.
Cut into squares and remove.
