Nantucket Cinnamon Toasts
Nantucket Cinnamon Toasts is an easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. granulated sugar, 6 (1/2-inch thick) slices white bread, crusts removed and cut into 4 strips, 1 stick unsalted butter melted in saucepan and 4 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In a wide, shallow bowl stir together sugar and cinnamon. With one strip of bread at a time quickly coat in butter, let excess drip off, turn quickly in cinnamon sugar.
Bake on lightly buttered baking sheet in upper third of 375Β° oven for 10 minutes. Turn over and bake 10 minutes more.
Serve warm.
