Nanny'S Melt In Your Mouth Chicken Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 to 3 lb. fryer, 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped, 2 c. reserved chicken broth, 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1 stick oleo, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cook chicken until tender.
Remove bones and cut up.
Put in 12 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Put soup and broth in saucepan and bring to a boil.
Pour over chicken and eggs.
Combine oleo, pepper, flour and buttermilk.
Mix thoroughly to form batter.
Spoon or pour batter over top.
Bake at 425Β° for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
