In saucepan, bring water, salt and oil to a boil.

Add rice. Stir only once or twice to keep from sticking on bottom.

Lower heat.

Cover with tight lid.

Simmer for about 15 minutes.

Let set until all water is absorbed.

Lay oleo on top of rice.

Do not stir.

Just let it melt into rice.

Beat the eggs real good, then add sugar.

Beat more.

Add to rice.

Pour evaporated milk and 2 more cups sweet milk.

Add nutmeg and vanilla mixture.

Should be real thin.

Pour into large baking dish.

Bake at 300Β° for an hour or until light brown on top and middle is set, kinda like an egg custard.
