Nana'S Brown Rice Pilaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 slices bacon, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. chopped celery, 3 c. beef broth and 1/2 c. dry white wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cook bacon until crisp.
Save 2 tablespoons drippings. Crumble bacon; put aside.
Cook onions and celery in drippings until tender, not brown.
Add broth, uncooked rice, wine, almonds, salt and bacon.
Heat to boiling.
Turn into 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Bake, covered, at 325Β° for 1 hour.
