Nachos Casserole
Nachos Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. chunky taco sauce, 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies, 1 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. chopped onions and 1/4 tsp. ground cumin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Combine taco sauce and chilies.
Set aside.
In large frypan, cook beef and onions until meat is browned.
Drain off excess drippings.
Add cumin, beans, 1 cup of cheese, 1/2 of taco sauce mixture and water.
Pour 2 cups corn flakes into lightly greased 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch 2-quart glass baking dish.
Cover with meat mixture.
Top with remaining taco sauce mixture.
Sprinkle with remaining cereal.
Bake at 350Β° for about 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake just until cheese melts.
Garnish with chopped tomatoes, sour cream, chopped green onions and sliced olives, if desired.
