Mystery Pudding
Mystery Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 egg, beaten and 1 (17 oz.) can fruit cocktail (undrained), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine flour, sugar, baking soda and salt in mixing bowl. Combine egg and fruit with syrup and vanilla; add to dry ingredients and mix to dampen.
Pour into greased 8-inch pan.
Mix together brown sugar and nuts.
Sprinkle over batter.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for 45 minutes until cake tests done.
Cut into 9 squares.
Serve topped with whipped cream.
Makes 9 servings.
