My Own Squash Casserole
My Own Squash Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 c. sliced yellow squash, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 c. sour cream and 2 (8 oz.) pkg. of herb seasoned stuffing mix, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook squash and onions in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Drain.
Combine soup and sour cream.
Fold in drained squash and onion.
Combine stuffing mix and butter.
Spread one half of the stuffing mixture in bottom of 9 x 12-inch baking dish.
Layer vegetable mixture on top.
Spoon rest of stuffing mixture as the final layer.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
