My Favorite Hot Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. boiling water, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. shortening or oleo and 1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Pour boiling water over sugar, salt and shortening.
Stir until shortening is melted.
Let cool to lukewarm.
Add dissolved yeast.
Add egg and mix well.

Shape into balls and put in a pan or cookie sheet.
Let rise until double in size.
