My Date Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. pitted dates, cut up, 1 1/2 c. strong hot coffee, 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, 3/4 c. granulated sugar and 3/4 c. dark brown sugar, packed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Pour boiling hot coffee over the dates.
Add butter, sugars and salt and stir blend well. Let cool.
Sift all dry ingredients.
Add egg to date mixture and blend well.
Add dry ingredients and mix again. and vanilla. Spoon into 2 well-greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pans. Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour or until
15 minutes. Remove to rack to cool completely before slicing.
Serve with softened cream cheese.
