Mushroom Delite
Mushroom Delite is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 to 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced, 1/4 c. butter, 9 slices buttered bread, cut into cubes, 1/2 c. onion and 1/2 c. green pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Saute onion, pepper and celery in butter until almost done. Add mushrooms. Set aside.
Place 1/3 of bread in buttered dish, spoon half of veggies over bread, layer 1/3 bread and 1/2 veggies. Top with remaining bread.
Pour egg and milk mixture over all. Spoon soup over top.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes.
