Mush is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. boiling water, salt, 1 c. cornmeal, 1 tbsp. sugar and 2 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix cornmeal and other dry ingredients with 1 cup cold water and stir into the 3 cups of boiling water.
Turn heat to low and cook about 1 hour.
Pour into loaf pan.
Cover with Saran Wrap; cool overnight in refrigerator.
Slice and fry.
Serve with favorite syrup.
