Mudworks is an easy dinner. Made with mud, outdoor work area, bucket or hose, hands and spade or shovel, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Find an area in the yard that is good dirt with few rocks, sticks and leaves.
Loosen an area with a shovel or spade suitable for working, about 3 x 3 feet.
Add water from hose or bucket if too dry.
Mix with hands and spade or other tools. Enjoy creating mud pies, patties and other shapes.
Dry on plywood cookie sheets, then wash with soap and water.
