Muddy Buddies(A.K.A. "Puppy Chow") is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 9 c. chex cereal, 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1/2 c. peanut butter, 1/4 c. margarine or butter and 1 tsp. vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Pour cereal into large bowl.
Set aside.
In 1-quart microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter and margarine.
Microwave on High for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until smooth, stirring after 1 minute.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour mixture over cereal until pieces are evenly coated.
Pour mixture into resealable bag with powdered sugar and shake until all pieces are covered.
Spread on waxed paper to cool.
