Mud Pie
Mud Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. oreo cookies, 1/2 c. melted butter, 1/2 gal. softened ice cream (traditionally coffee flavored), 1/4 c. butter and 3 oz. hershey's unsweetened chocolate, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Crush Oreo cookies and melted butter in a food processor and place in a
9 x 13-inch pan. Smooth ice cream over crushed cookies, then freeze.
Melt butter and unsweetened chocolate together.
Add a dash of salt, sugar and milk.
Cook for 4 minutes.
Cool and spread over ice cream.
Sprinkle chopped nuts over the top, then freeze again.
Serve.
