Mother's Fruitcake
Mother'S Fruitcake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking soda, 2 eggs, slightly beaten, 1 can sweetened condensed milk and 1 (28 oz.) jar mincemeat, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Butter and flour baking pan (tube, loaf or 16 ounce size cans from corn, peas, etc., washed).
Fill with batter until 1/2 to 3/4 full after combining all ingredients.
Sift flour and soda.
In a larger bowl, combine all other ingredients, then fold in dry ingredients.
Bake at 300Β° for about 1 to 2 hours depending on size and shape of pan used.
