Monster Chip Cookies
Monster Chip Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 1/3 c. sugar, 1 c. packed brown sugar and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In large mixing bowl, cream shortening, butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes).
Add eggs one at a time, beating each well.
Add vanilla and lemon juice. Combine flour, oats, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Add to creamed mixture. Mix well.
Stir in chips and nuts.
Drop by 1/4 c. three inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 14-16 minutes or until lightly browned and set in center.
Cool two minutes before removing to wire rack.
