Monster Chip Cookies
Monster Chip Cookies is an impressive dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 32 minutes. Made with c. shortening, c. butter or margarine, softened, c. sugar, c. packed brown sugar and eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In large mixing bowl, cream shortening, butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes).
Add eggs one at a time, beating each well.
Add vanilla and lemon juice. Combine flour, oats, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Add to creamed mixture. Mix well.
Stir in chips and nuts.
Drop by 1/4 c. three inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 14-16 minutes or until lightly browned and set in center.
Cool two minutes before removing to wire rack.
