Monkey Bread
Monkey Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. melted crisco, 1/2 c. boiling water, 1/3 c. sugar, 3/4 tsp. salt and 1 pkg. dry yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Melt butter for later.
Combine Crisco in boiling water; add sugar and salt and let cool.
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Beat in egg; add to first mixture and flour.
Mix well.
Cover and let rise 1 hour.
Knead and roll on floured board to 1/4-inch thick.
Cut in various sizes.
Dip one piece at a time in melted butter and drop around in Bundt pan.
Let set for 1 hour, then bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350Β°.
