Monkey Bread
Monkey Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks butter, 1 c. milk, 1/2 c. sugar plus 1 tsp. sugar, 1 tsp. salt and 2 pkg. dry yeast (fast rising), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix 1 stick butter, milk, 1/2 cup sugar and salt together. Heat until melted.
Let cool.
Mix yeast, 1 teaspoon sugar and 2 tablespoons of hot water.
Let stand.
Add eggs to mixture, then add 2 cups flour and mix well.
Add yeast mixture and 1 1/2 cups flour (save remaining 1/2 cup flour).
Let rise until mixture doubles in size.
Take remaining 1/2 cup flour and spread on bread board.
Roll and knead dough to 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut with biscuit cutter and dip into 1 stick of melted butter.
Twist and place into 13 x 12 x 1/2-inch baking pan.
Let rise again.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes until browned.
