Mom's Vinegar Pie

Combine in a saucepan: apple cider vinegar, flour, water, salt and lemon extract.
Beat egg yolks and blend with ingredients in saucepan.
Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil, stirring constantly while mixture thickens and boils.
Boil and stir for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and pour into a baked pie shell.
Top with meringue and brown in oven.
