Mom's Layered Salad
Mom'S Layered Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head iceberg lettuce, shredded, 1/2 c. green pepper, finely chopped, 1/2 c. celery, chopped, 1/2 c. onion, chopped and 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas (uncooked; tiny peas preferably), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

In large bowl place two layers each of lettuce, pepper, celery and onions.
Top with layer of frozen peas.
Cover completely with mayonnaise or salad dressing.
Sprinkle with sugar, then add layer of cheese and top with bacon bits.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Serves 8 to 10.
