Mom's Fruit Salad
Mom'S Fruit Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (10 oz.) can each: peaches, pears and grapefruit, drained, 1 can chunk pineapple, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 heaping tbsp. flour and pinch of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Drain all juice, then use 1 can pineapple (chunk size).
Take the juice from pineapple and put in saucepan with sugar, flour and salt.
Mix all dry ingredients together.
Beat egg yolk and add to sauce in pan; cook until thick.
Pour sauce over all the fruit. Add apples and oranges then chill until ready to serve.
Add bananas just before serving.
You can also add maraschino cherries or anything else that you like.
