Mom's Deviled Crab
Mom'S Deviled Crab is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick butter, 2 stalks celery, minced, 2 onions, chopped fine, 1 green pepper, chopped fine and 12 slices white bread, toasted or not, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Saute vegetables until soft in melted butter.
Crumb the bread in a blender or processor.
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl (use hands if necessary!).
Add mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lots of salt, pepper and celery salt (and a dash of Tabasco). Shape and place in crab shells.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for 10 minutes, or until hot.
