Mom's Chicken Casserole
Mom'S Chicken Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. chicken, cooked, deboned and cut up, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 3/4 c. milk, 2 pkg. frozen peas and carrots, thawed (1 pkg. egg noodles can be substituted, if you prefer) and 1 stick margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Place cut up chicken in 9 x 12-inch pan.
Mix soup, milk, vegetables and onion in saucepan.
Heat until blended and vegetables are slightly cooked.
Pour over chicken.
Melt margarine and pour over cornbread stuffing.
Add 1 cup chicken broth and stir well.
Spread over chicken mixture.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
