Molly'S French Toast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. corn syrup, 5 tbsp. butter, 1 c. brown sugar, 5 eggs and 1 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cook until bubbly: syrup, butter and sugar.
Pour this into 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Sprinkle chopped pecans over syrup mixture. Arrange very thickly sliced bread (French or raisin) over mixture.
Beat eggs, milk and vanilla.
Pour on top of bread and syrup mixture.
Refrigerate overnight.
