Molasses Surprise Cookies
Molasses Surprise Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 3/4 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 3/4 c. unsulphured molasses and 3 1/2 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Cream shortening, sugar and molasses.
Add eggs; mix well. Sift together flour, salt, soda, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Add small amount of dry ingredients and mix until blended.
Stir in sour milk, nuts and chocolate chips.
Mix in remaining dry ingredients.
Drop from tablespoon on cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
