Molasses Sugar Cookies
Molasses Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. shortening, 1 c. sugar, 1/4 c. molasses, 1 egg and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream together the shortening and sugar.
Add the molasses and egg.
Beat well and add the remaining ingredients.
Chill; form into 1-inch balls.
Roll in granulated sugar, or just dip in top half.
Place on greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
Bake in preheated 375Β° oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
